Get to Know Julieanna

Julieanna has been the Executive Director of CASA Nashville since April 2016, leveraging over fifteen years of experience in social work and the nonprofit sector. Her personal journey supporting friends, family, and loved ones in the foster care system fuels her commitment to promoting support and connection, with a focus on child-centered and family-focused approaches.

Under Julieanna’s leadership, CASA Nashville has undergone a significant transformation, including the development of specialized advocacy programs aimed at better serving children and families through equity, belonging, and trauma-informed practices.

Julieanna’s impactful contributions were acknowledged in 2016 when she was named one of the Center for Nonprofit Management’s “Top 30 in their 30’s.” Since joining CASA in February 2013, she has been instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission, leading with compassion, inclusivity, and a steadfast dedication to improving the lives of children and families.

In her free time, Julieanna enjoys spending time with her family, especially as an auntie where she spoils her niece and nephews. She also enjoys outdoor adventures with Enzo, her pup (a.k.a the bestest, goodest boy), whether hiking trails, shopping for house plants or embarking on weekend getaways.
