Get to Know Julia

Julia joined Nashville CASA as a volunteer in February 2020 and joined our team as Executive Leadership Administrator in August 2021. Julia started her work in advocacy as a Guardian Ad Litem in Florida as soon as she was old enough to serve there. She became a vocal child advocate early in her life and has dedicated much of her time to ensuring all children have a voice. She is the mother of two teenagers and has a passion for working with adolescents. She is very excited about CASA Nashville expanding our advocacy to Dual Status children (children with abuse and neglect issues as well as delinquency charges.)

Julia’s professional experience is varied, having attended Culinary School (food is her love language!), worked in retail, and most recently, worked at Vanderbilt Hospital supporting a large team of doctors. In her role as Executive Leadership Administrator, she builds on her leadership training and administrative skills to work closely with our Development team to get the message of CASA out to the world. She also provides support to our whole team, keeping all of us working to the best of our ability. Julia brings her passion for CASA to everything she does and loves being a part of the CASA Nashville family, both as a volunteer and as a staff member. She is a ray of sunshine, a strong role model, and a passionate advocate for children. Plus, she is an amazing chef, so our team is extremely lucky to have her!
