Alexa Wallenburg joined CASA Nashville in August of 2022. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in child development and family studies and a minor in lifespan development. She interned with CASA in Wilson County, TN and continued serving with CASA as a volunteer following her internship.
She has also volunteered with Grace’s Place, a non-profit organization aiding homeless single mothers and their children in connecting back with their community. She began with DCS right out of college, as a foster care case manager and has extensive knowledge regarding the development of children and adolescents, as well as the family system dynamic.
