Alexa Wallenburg joined CASA Nashville in August of 2022. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in child development and family studies and a minor in lifespan development. She interned with CASA in Wilson County, TN and continued serving with CASA as a volunteer following her internship.
She has also volunteered with Grace’s Place, a non-profit organization aiding homeless single mothers and their children in connecting back with their community. She began with DCS right out of college, as a foster care case manager and has extensive knowledge regarding the development of children and adolescents, as well as the family system dynamic. Alexa is passionate about children having their own voice and advocating for those who have not yet found theirs.
